cell phone doesn't work
Just a quick update for everyone. I got home without much trouble, save a quick luggage issue. But, I found out that, contrary to what I thought I read on some random website, my phone does not work in this country! Which means I have no real way to get in touch with people except to use land lines, pay phones, email, and LJ. If I don't have your number (zarine and zsh0ck especially), please make sure I get it. Even if you'd told me before...you never know. You can post an anonymous comment to this entry (don't forget to tell me whose number it is) and only I'll see it. Anonymous posts are set to be automatically hidden from view until I choose to display it, and I won't display anything with a phone number in it (I can view them without letting other people do so).
I'll probably be using LJ as a primary means of mass communication here, so stay posted for all the latest (no promises it's the greatest). And I'll try to keep this updated, but you all know how good I am at doing that.
Just finished christmas dinner and am about to visit my grandparents, who couldn't come down due to some (smaller) health issues. I'll be back in about 4 hours.
