did i mention my latest fangirling craze is for matsuda ryuhei? ^___^

he's such an incredibly subtle actor! and also quite amusingly and endearingly awkward in real life. probably super serious too hahaha (even more so than eita).

omg so cute two of them hahaha.

(eita does feel very elder brotherly doesn't he? they're only 5 months apart in age!)

and matsuda-san says of eita:
waaaahhhh

actually looking at matsuda's rather stoic and quiet interactions with many other fellow co-actors (in other interviews and stuff), it's so precious to see him open up when he's around people he seems comfortable with - like eita! it's also so lovely to see that his instagram has several of eita's photos (who isn't even on instagram) - when matsuda-san doesn't even post all that much or of other of his co-stars. even that instagram with yo oizumi was a rare one - and i do think matsuda-san might have agreed to sign on for 3 such movies (tantei wa bar ni iru - the 2nd one where that bit matsuda-san revives is hilarious!!) with yo oizumi because he did enjoy acting alongside him (noisy but rather funny hahaha).

all these are speculation, but that matsuda-san is notoriously reticent while his body language in interviews seems to give quite a lot of fodder for interpretation ^_^ i also think amongst his female co-stars he seemed more comfortable with miyazaki aoi (fune wo amu - which is yet another beautiful subtle story by Shion Miura - who wrote the wonderful mahoro ekimae tada benriken <3<3).

ahh, his awkwardness is very adorable <3 hahaha. eita had noted before that he himself had social anxiety, while matsuda... well, the signs are obvious though it seems like through the years he has either become a lot more comfortable with just being reticent or hiding it better. i recall one interview where his co-star answered a quiz question about him - "what's the thing I am most afraid of in the world?" co-star: "...variety shows?" matsuda: "well, that's about right."

i also respect matsuda ryuhei - not just for his acting - but as a person --> he recently forgave his wife (who cheated on him T_T) and got back together with her. how many people are able to do that?

eita nagayama, matsuda ryuhei
