I could cry

Yesterday the wind started blowing hard, so I opened the blinds in the bedroom because they were getting wipped around. (wasn't cold enough to bother closing the windo, the wind felt good.) About 10 minuets latter there was a loud crash form the bed room and the cat running out whith her tail all poofy. The wind knocked over a painting that was sitting on top of the book shelf and the painting knoced over 2 of my pottery pitchers and a black ceramic cat that belonged to my Mom that were sitting in front of it and knocked them off the shelf and smashed them all into little pieces on the floor.

The cat was in the window of the house my mom lived in when she and my dad were courting. He was with her when she bought the cat and when he was going to visit her and was looking for the right house, he saw the cat in the window and knew he'd found the right one.

The pitchers were stamped GMP on the bottom with some numbers that are hard to read. They looked a lot like this one Buyer one.

one was white and one was yellow and still had it's original lid.

I still have a turquize Buyer one that almost fell off the shelf.

They might only be worth about 20 to 40 dollars but I'd gotten them each for under 2 dollars at yards sales or thrift stores before anyone was collecting them. I dought I'll find anymore like them for $2.00 again.

and the kitty was priceless to me...
