caer_awenPrompt: 159 “At the end of all things”
With a sigh Kat saved his game and went through the routine of shutting down the computer. He stood up and tried to reach the ceiling, hearing his back pop and crack as his spine stretched. Shine, who was reading a book on the bed behind him laughed, “I think I’m starting to get jealous of that game. Aren’t you tired of the Sims yet?”
“Not yet.” Kat answered joining Shine on the bed.
“You’re hopeless.” Shine chuckled.
“yup.” Kat agreed.
“Have you ever felt like we might just be Sims in some game god is playing?”
“Frequently.”
“Then aren’t you worried that one day he’ll get board with the game and turn it off?”
“Na, he’d remember to save first.”
“But what if he never turns it back on again? Or when he does he decided to start all over again? It would be the end of everything!’ Kat thought Shine was taking this silly conversation just a little too seriously.
“Then we had better make good use of the time we have and be happy.” Kat could see Shine’s mind working as he thought about that, then he grinned and carefully marking his place in the book reached for Kat. “Good plan.”
