Meet Eli Stone.
Eli Stone is a lawyer who discovers he suffers from the same condition his father did - a brain aneurysm which gives him visions. And a whole lot of songs. And dance. He doesn't like them of course, and his acupuncturist believes that he is a prophet and his visions are messages from the guy upstairs. And his visions aren't just any visions. The very first episode? He saw George Michael singing "Faith" in his lounge just as he was about to roll in bed with his fiancee. Utter crack-like, yes. But totally relevant. XD

Eli's got me laughing, crying, awed, faceplanking on the table - I don't know - I cycled through too many emotions. 8D; Series has been nothing but delightful surprises and inspirational! Interestingly enough, it also has something to do with a cute lawyer, his
cute doctor brother (I fail to see why his older brother would be called Nathan. D8), the
Ed guy from Ed father, a British pop star, that
alien girl from Species, that guy who used to be Shredder in TMNT in the 90's. TELL ME
THIS SHOW ISN'T A DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE.
She appears in episode 2, and has been known to emit fangirlism at some points throughout the series. Not always at Eli Stone, though. She's cute, naive, and sometimes a bit of a wreck in court.
James Saito plays the next most interesting character I've ever seen in a film, albeit a supporting role. Dr Chen has unrivaled patience with a wit you'd never have expected with his faux Chinese accent.
I never expected this, to be honest. I watched this series with no idea what it was about. Even if you are reading this now, it wouldn't ruin your entertainment from this gem of a tv series.
The writers behind this refreshingly different series sent in their first draft to George Michael himself, because they felt he was a natural fit. Nothing like taking their series one step further (after GM agreed to be in) by naming every episode after GM's songs.
Of course, George himself feels pretty flattered. YES, that is Victor Garber, and he is doing a wonderful musical number in Eli's mind.
GOOD LORD. This show is like watching a musical. XD
But definitely not too gay that you shouldn't check it out. XD
