well I just got back from an overdue pulminologist visit. Dr. Salva is not pleased with my progress (or lack thereof), because my readings and everything were off the chart like my very first visit. I'm not too surprised considering I'm still battling pneumonia, but I was hoping they wouldn't be quite so dismal, since I'm feeling much more like myself now. it's just disconcerting to hear on a semi-regular basis that it's amazing that I'm still walking around. if this isn't an extreme exaggeration, I must be some sort of living miracle, because on days like today I feel all right, and yet my breath readings are so low that there aren't any mandated recommendations for improvement.
even after all that cringing, Dr. Salva is cutting down on my meds, except for one the hospital gave me, which he's continuing for the next 20 days. I get to go back in a month, when I will hopefully be wheezeless.
I am feeling better in general today, too. I'm going to avoid talking with Zach if I can, because that'll probably get me riled up again, but if I'm successful in doing that I should be fine.

I retried the whole umbrella thing, since I wasn't overly pleased with the focusing yesterday. I think today I was a bit more successful.
