► INAZUMA GO I'm actually catching up with it and I LOVE IT SO MUCH O M G. It's like...a totally different spin that still carries the same feelings of i11 sakka. I thought it was SLOW, I take it back. Every match is now x100 more dramatic and intense with the whole Fifth Sector and Avatar (a la PERSONAS!!!) stuff. I tend to really enjoy all this FIGHT AGAINST THE TYRANNY thing so THIS IS GREAT.
Also, I love how each character from Raimon is designed in a way that allows each of them to have their own time in the spotlight?? It's like I never forget anyone anymore, and I actually had so many emotional moments watching inaGO HAHAHA. It's been so long since I last felt the whole "COME ON GUYS WIN ITTTTT" thing. ;__;
also i love tsurugi everyone go away
and I'm somehow randomly suepr attached to Kurama??? IDK ANYMORE I LOVE EVERYTHING Q__Q also omg I love the TYL characters arghghh I seem to ship everything harder when they're older sob
I need new icons huffs
► MOVIES watched some recently, aaaand.
Real Steel is just utter BADASSERY lmao I loved it. A straightforward underdog story featuring robot boxing. Just enough action, just enough "awww ;__;" moments, along with the whole father-son thing AND robots? No wonder I enjoy it so much. Great action, really cool universe, and it's a simple yet interesting concept. I think it's blunt, heartwarming and exciting. Expecting something abstract would just be pretentious. Also the OST is just gangsta to the max ok. /DLed it
500 Days of Summer ...was alright. Really not my kind of story but I liked how they told it. Very, very smooth, very pretty. Really aesthetically pleasing. Sadly I don't really like anyone in the film, and felt pretty much zero emotional connection to it (unless this was the point of the story in the first place). I loved the narrator's lines. They're the best written parts of the film, and the whole film was pretty clever with the editing.
Nine Dead seemed promising, actually not quite. While it had potential, the execution just fell a short of the premise of having "9 people locked up together, 1 dies every 10 minutes, they have to figure out why they're all here to escape". Yet at the same time, I kinda really liked one of the characters. He was just BADASS all the way and tbh, the characters weren't memorable but they were strong in the context of the film. As a side-note, one female character was so irritating it made it hard to watch. (Bonus: there was proper Mandarin in the film!!)
Big Fish - A son tries to reconnect with his dying father by reliving the myths and stories his dad told him of his youth. His dad is badass, and because this film was directed by Tim Burton, it's really prettily done. Southern Gothic tales on top of that. While maybe cliché, I think it's really heartwarming and all my TEARS over it okay. The stories are fun, pretty, epic (my favorite is the one about the creepy town of Spectre)...and it was engaging to watch. Definitely worth my time, and certainly worth the tears.
► SCHOOL gave us iPads to use for a semester. I am busy trying to DL free stuff like apps and games for it OK. I'M TOTALLY WARMING UP TO IT ACTUALLY. Been out and filming for school these few days. IT'S SO PAINFUL ARGHHH because we spend hours of our time outside...everyday is going out now sob, if not for one thing, then for another.
► REALITY - randomly I WANT ANOTHER GAME CONSOLE LMAO. But I think investing in something like a PS3 or w/e would...cost a lot, yet at the same time I selfishly wish I had one :la ...I want one so badly sob (in b4 PS4 or something)
