FUCK YEAH FOR EXAMS BEING OVER, but time to start on the exams right after those. You gotta love projects that stretch. Life is pretty boring right now but I kinda made my wardrobe more COLORFUL!!! Color is GOOD. So what’s up with you guys?
★ RECOMMEND ME TELEVISION SHOWS and not Glee because I AM WATCHING THAT. Kurt is beautiful, I love Brittany, I like Puck and I swear to god I cannot understand what they are trying to do with Rachel. But I’m on the third quarter of the first season so IDEK.
★ Afterschool Charisma Vol4; bought it today. Holy shit I love Mozart. VOLUME FOUR IS AMAZING: IN WHICH MOZART IS A BAMF, HITLER BECOMES DEPRAVED AND BISEXUAL, PEOPLE DIE IN CRUEL WAYS, CHARLES DARWIN IS HOT, FREUD IS ALWAYS RIGHT, NAPOLEON IS MOE AND A LOT OF PLOT TWISTS ARE HAD. I need someone to SRS TALK with over this series.
★ Also, Pokemon! PokeSpecial Vol 34. Riley being suave. Byron being a BAMF. Fuck yeah Dia and Pearl are super adorable. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE VOLKNER VOLUME.

★ If you knew me in my 2006 days, you’ll know how much I love My Chemical Romance. These boys changed my life in a big way, and it’s one of those ‘big’s that if you haven’t gone through it yourself, you won’t understand just how big it is. After four years, FUCK YEAH DANGER DAYS. I am so stoked for Monday omg and I am usually /never/ psyched for albums, no lie.
These guys went and created a post-apocalyptic story setting in 2019 for this album and it’s like some TV series, or even an anime-esque thing. It has the group of rebels fighting authority. Said evil authority has led the world to perfection after a nuclear fallout that shook humanity - law, order, and peace, all at the cost of expression. Art is gone. Now everyone is the same (think: brainwashing) because ~differences~ create strife, right? The good guys are this group of people from all over the world - the Killjoys, who resist this system using art as their weapon. Though scattered and in separate groups, they all work towards one common goal - the downfall of Better Living Industries.
Zones from 1 to 6 surround the ‘perfect’ Battery City, 1 being the safest and 6 being the…well, yeah. Fucking amazing setting, and it happens to be right up my alley of ‘what I love in any series’. You gotta love how they promote their albums. Actual in-verse websites, in-verse TV shows & ads, Thought Adjustment clips used by Better Living Industries (BL/ind, the evil guys), radio transmissions, all those freakin’ fan submissions in the form of ‘Killjoy video transmissions’ - IT IS ALL SO REAL, SO PERFECT. You have to see this to believe it, my words alone cannot tell you the full story.
Hey the costumes were all originally designed by the lead singer and holy shit they are beautiful. Also lmfao I LOVE THE JAPAN INFLUENCES, shit is like some blockbuster anime. All that color and detail. And the evil dude is Grant Morrison. There’s even a Japanese lady in this. Watching the band's adventures in the MVs is like reading an intense comic or watching a film.
It has all the elements I love: a ragtag bunch of misfits, rebel gangs, fighting the good fight against authority and have I mentioned that the MVs have the most amazing detail put into the setting, props and costumes? JFC THE KILLJOY COSTUMES. With that sheer amount of wild joy and color, this stuff is PERFECT for OC material. And I usually hate OC material in canon verses.
I also happen to think that they’re a lot more creative and better than Lady GaGa but this is subjective. I also happen to actually like Lady GaGa a little.
