Now that I'm a graduate student, I can identify with a lot of the stuff at PhD Comics. I just spent multiple hours running around this morning trying to figure out where I could get the remaining 4 credits I need to graduate a semester early. I'm not going to stay another semester when I've got a nice, handy 4 credit gap in my 3rd semester to fit that into. You'd think it would be easy-- except that my advisor doesn't like the one class that'll fit into the block... I guess he thinks that computer networking isn't worthy to be a graduate-level subject. (Don't really see why... I think it's pretty good).

Anyway, I can tell I'm not going to particularly enjoy the political-ness of getting things done in the graduate degree.
