I've avoided saying much on this subject as it is very controversial and liable to spark various debates. At any rate, I've had enough of this particular issue, and I can't sit idly by any longer without saying anything

Yeah, with further thought, I can't in good conscience advocate denying the right to protest to either party. I do still think it's wrong to try to get churches to change their doctrine in order to fit perceived notions of right and wrong, but I agree with Silverstorm-- the protest should be against the action, not people.
