Life in general
Just a quick update. I no longer have a job. They called me up Wednesday morning and said, "Oh, well, it turns out that we've made permanent cut-backs in that department and we're not going to need you after all." Fine. I'll go find a job somewhere else then. I hope. It really stinks when they do that to you a week after they hired you.
So, looking for a job for the summer. Other than that, I'm glad that the school year is almost over. I'm tired and ready for a break. Now just some finals and it's all over with.
On another note, the self-righteousness and pompousness I see in a lot of the letters to the editor in the Daily Universe makes me sick. Blast the vocal minority and their idiocy. A lot of times when I read them it makes me just want to slap the writer upside the head and ask them if they were using their brain or some sawdust to process information when they wrote the letter. Ergh.

I'm probably going to take a German class this summer. I've been wanting to learn the language for some years now.
On another note, sounds like someone else has been hit. Lots of sirens going by outside. I wonder if it was at that same intersection... Terrible intersection. I saw the accident on Friday as well. I saw the guy's foot where he was lying on the stretcher inside the ambuilance and the pile of cut-up jeans on the street. The mo-ped was destroyed. So, either it wasn't too serious, or the guy was very dead when they got there, because the ambuilance didn't go rushing off. I think I got there a little while after it had happened. It's a terrible intersection. They really need to put in a light or something. I think I've heard sirens going by in the area 5 or 6 times in the last few months.
Anyway, I'll stop boring you.
