Y'know... I was just thinking of something and this thought is often a thought that drifts into my head every once and a while, kind of like an old friend popping in unexpectedly. This thought just visited me again and since nothing too terribly exciting has happened in a while I thought I'd write about it and see what you all thought.
Little known fact about me: I've never broken a bone.
That's right, never. I mean, I've done plenty of others things -like burning myself on a live oven door, smashing my pinky finger between two stone weights etc. etc.- but I've never broken a bone. Never fallen off a trampoline and broken an arm, never fallen off the monkey bars and broken an leg, never broken an ankle, or my nose, nothing. I'll stop being repetitive now since I'm sure you get the point.
So, here's the thing... Am I missing out on an valuable life experience?
I always feel awkward when people start a conversation about things they've broken and whatnot and I can't contribute any prior experience. All I can really boast is burning myself on an oven door.
Some of you may think this is a weird and ridiculous train of thought, but I can't help it... It's always something I've wondered about...
So my question still stands... Am I missing out on something or just missing out on the irritation of wearing a cast?
broken,
bones,
life experiences
