I've got no theme to talk about today, so I will discuss random topics as I think of them:
- I'm 18 on Friday! That means I can legally drink... on the one hand it doesn't mean anything since I don't really drink anyway, on the other it means I can go to 18+ concerts and sit in pubs and so on, so it's more of a relief than anything. (It also means that I can vote... although there is nothing for me to vote on, yet.)
- I know Jez talked about Lady Gaga a couple of weeks ago, but I'm listening to Lady Gaga a lot at the moment, because the Alejandro video just came out. The only think I don't like about her music is the style, which is making me wonder why I like the music I do like, if I can like something so drastically different. Then there's bands which are in the style I like, like Florence + the Machine, with well written lyrics that I would have thought I would like, but just don't.
- I can't think of anything to talk about that isn't really boring or you've heard before, and it's getting late and I need to sleep. It's strange how I make sure I go to bed at a sensible time when I have to revise the next day, but not when I had to go to school.
