"Home to US president Barack Obama" makes Chicago awesome in my humble opinion.

1. In Albany NY, it's probably something like 10 degrees out, but here right now, it's about 30 or something and all the locals think it's cold. This really amuses me, as it's been 15 below in upstate NY before, so this doesn't strike any of the Albany kids as particularly cold.

2. I actually had no idea about this. While I know people get pretty intense with their fandom stuff (Though of course I never have... -.- ), normally I've seen people getting all crazy on fandoms based upon some sort of fictional thing, like a book or a show or something. I think a fandom on youtube should have waaay more definate boundaries. It is not okay to post comments about a break-up. That's getting really into their personal life.

3. I'm a first generation immigrant. Both of my parents moved to the US after growing up elsewhere. My mother moved here at 17 from Costa Rica and my dad moved at 28 from Colombia. None of my family members have been famous enough to be known in the US, but maybe somewhere along the line one of my great-uncles of something was a mayor or some sort of local figure.

There's actually this hobo-type man who everybody seems to love that lives in my mom's neighborhood back in San Jose. They call him Luis Loco (Luis the Crazy) and I've always kind of wished we were related. He's a good time.
