(no subject)
Hey girls! Firstly, Gaby, Jez and Toni I hope you're having a wonderful time at the #INC :).
I thought for this week's post, I would tell you all what I'm planning on doing with my summer, and share some of the projects I'm planning.
- Make another Amanda Palmer themed t-shirt. The first one (here) is supposed to be her eyebrow, I had planned on drawing an eye too, but decided not to, which I think was the right decision, but also looks a bit like a mountain and a lake. The second t-shirt is going to have similar coloured splodges but with this (link) silhouette either stencilled or drawn free-hand on top.
- Make some more clothes, definitely a few dresses, and maybe a jacket if I find a suitable pattern. I ordered a book on Amazon on Monday, but for some reason hasn't been dispatched yet, so I'm waiting until it gets here before I do anything. Luckily there's a shop a short bus ride away which has really cheap fabric in, so I don't have to worry about that too much, especially if I use the fabric carefully and don't waste it.
- Make a tumblr. Ok, I've made it, but there's not much on there at the moment, because I'm not really sure about the etiquette of it. Is it ok to only reblog stuff and not put any of my own stuff up? Is there anything I shouldn't do specifically?
- Inspired by a picture and comment on Gaby's tumblr, I'm going to make a pokemon hoodie. Ie, buy a coloured hoodie and then edit it to look like a pokemon, I haven't decided which one yet though, but it should be fun to make!
- Rewatch all this series of Doctor Who, although at the moment I'm watching Chuck, X-Files and rewatching bones, so I might not get round to it for a long time. I'm trying not to spend too much time watching tv but I have enjoyed not doing and recovering from school for the past few days.
So yes, I hope this has been interesting, and also gives you the chance to tut at me if in a week's time I've done nothing but watch tv! Plus I found out once and for all how to spell "hoodie".
