Also, for today: Dreams are quirky bits of nature. When I woke up and couldn't think of the man in a real setting, I was sad he'd never been my teacher. Essays until the crayon runs out doesn't seem like a college exercise, in retrospect. But there was something very warm and ingenious about his class. On the other hand-- huh!
