I just took my Junior Writing Portfolio Timed Writing Exam (jeesh, thats a mouthful). We had to write about McDonalds. WHat the K? Apparently, the creator of McDonalds is single-handedly responsible for the de-humanization of universities due to technological advances. The popularity of technological advances that allow teachers to have large class sizes (like scantrons) stems from the ideals started by McDonalds: efficency and production.
