Does it make me a horrible person that I lied to my prof that my cat needed emergency surgery in order to leave? I mean, it was a horrible class, and I tried to just get up and go quietly. But when she asked.....
So here I am in the library. I dropped the ball today and didn't bring a single thing with me that needed working on.
I can't remember the last time I trained as hard as I did last night. There's suddenly talk of a grading when Kanazowa comes here in June. It would be really cool to get my shodan from my sensei's sensei's sensei, but I don't think I have enough time to really train for it. I certainly don't mind going hard on the three nights per week I'm in the dojo, but as for the other four days, there's not a lot I can do.
