Yesterday I also got two of the multi-bowl dip bowls out of the kiln. I forgot to take pics so will do so when I go back in tomorrow (today is a day off!! Woo!). They turned out so cute and have got me thinking about what else I can do with multiple pieces. Another productive day... trimmed a bunch of stuff and finished up the parrot butter dishes. If these turn out OK I'll make a bunch more of them. I updated my ceramics blog, if you're interested in reading the entry it's here! There is a pic of some olive oil jugs in the post.

Had an R&D day in the studio, made a bunch of plates. Amazing how cathartic clay is for me.

These were among several things I worked on today. They're large - should be about a liter capacity, I am hoping, once they're fired and final size.

Do you like my display?

I went to Michaels and bought some of that flower arrangement foam and used a square basket and silk flowers that I had at home. I bought the flowers a few years ago for a display table and they've been sitting on the shelf in my studio for a long time. I was glad I could put them to use!
