I'm on the fence on this one, but I agree more with Jasna than with Rohit. Yeah, women have been oppressed throughout history, yadda yadda. But this isn't history, and that's sort of beside the point.

Don't get me wrong - I'm all for equality in the workplace, politics, and society. But in a relationship, it's different. When all is said and done, a woman is not fundamentally the same thing as a man, and I believe relationships tend to work better if you stop trying to force full equality at all levels. I can't speak for all women, but theres something to be said for a man who is willing to be strong, powerful, and dominant. A man you can respect, and feel justified in submitting to. There's just a certain yin and yang in the traditional setup that, if combined with love and respect, breeds true harmony. You can't blame women entirely for its corrosion - to have a submissive woman, you need a dominant man. It seems that most men just aren't willing or able to be so strong anymore.
