Well, I can *sort* of swim. Like, I can "dog paddle" and keep my head above water, and if I fell into water I wouldn't drown. But I don't know any of the proper swimming strokes, and I can't swim underwater without holding my nose. I wish I knew how to make strawberry jam
It's soooo easy! Honest! This was my first time to try it, and it came out wonderfully. The recipe called for strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and a bit of balsamic vinegar. I dumped these in a pot, stirred it up a bit, and once it was thick enough (which you test by splodging a bit onto a cold plate and poking it with your finger-- if it just oozes around, it's not done, but if it wrinkles and holds its shape, it's finished), then you just pour it into a nice, clean jar. That's it! I can give you the recipe if you like, or you can find one online-- I've come across lots of them. :)
But I agree-- cake is the best dessert, by far. And brownies. :)
