I've sunken to a new low. Writing an lj entry instead of my project. Or should it be "a lj entry?" I know I would say "an lj" because it's pronounced "el jay" and if I knew how to make the phonetic symbols on my computer I could do that because I'm a language major and I'm taking linguistics! But while typing it, "l" is a consonant so it should be "a." I'm staying with it: I'm writing an lj entry in a stream-of-consciousness style in order to further procrastinate on my project to be given in Intro to Spanish Literature class tomorrow morning. I also need to write down some spanish verbs in the first person in a few tenses because there will be a quiz tomorrow. And get to school early so I can meet with my linguistics professor because I have no idea how this project due Wednesday should look. And after Humanities I need to get my nails done, then go to work, then do my linguistics project all night long. Ugh.
And I'm still not starting.
Oh, I thought of a fun word while I should have been doing my project at the coffee shop today: procrastinatrix. GET IT?!
I liked it.
I'm going to finish listing off everything I have to do in the next two weeks:
Now: finish writing up the notes for this group project, write down the verbs for tomorrow's quiz
tomorrow: wake up early, find dr. sunderman's office and look at some projects, go to classes, get nails done, go to work at the silver slipper, do linguistics project from start to finish.
wednesday: get eyebrows done before class maybe, go to classes, wash dishes maybe, work at coffee shop, write Spanish Literature composition on a play I didn't read, TRY to do the humanities paper while at work.
thursday: pack for wedding before class maybe, classes, pack for wedding, get directions, figure out bills and withdraw money to give to Kayla, drive to Charleston, check in hotel and such. Man, Juan really needs to pay me back for this hotel room...
friday: do whatever Audrey tells me to do, I haven't even looked at the wedding schedule but there's a wedding rehearsal and a dinner this night. Maybe I'll get some homework done today? That would be to find synopses of the readings I was supposed to do in the Humanities seminar and learn them, attempt to do the take home exam for that class, make flashcards for Art History exam, write more of Humanities paper, study for Linguistics exam since it's on Monday, holy god this sucks.
saturday: in the salon all day until ceremony, have ceremony and pictures, reception, awkwardness of drunken friends of audrey's with my family, and mickey's family's love of dancing.
sunday: brunch somewhere, drive back to Tallahassee, study some more?
monday: linguistics exam 10am-12pm. I hope the coffee shop is closed so I won't have to work 4-8, finish up homework things I was supposed to do and probably didn't touch over the weekend.
tuesday: realistically, do all of the Humanities take home exam because it's due by 7:30pm in Diffenbaugh because why would I do it any earlier than I absolutely had to? OH CRAP I have to work at 5 at the slipper. Guess it's due before 5pm for me.
wednesday: nothing is due this day, so maybe I'll take a shower or brush my hair or something. Hopefully not working in the coffee shop 5-close.
thursday: the 7-10 page humanities paper is due some time today, I don't remember when. study for art history (need to meet with Allison or borrow her book) and spanish tests.
friday: art history exam 10-12, spanish grammar exam 3-5, which conflicts with my regular 4-11 pm shift at the slipper and I've yet to tell him. Crap, I have to tell him that I can't work this weekend too, even though I already told him and he scheduled me anyway.
Well.
THAT ISN'T MAKING ME FEEL BETTER.
maybe i should print this out, it could tell me what to do for a while instead of me deciding for myself.
