Houses, Jobs, and Daycare Shtuff

Well, the deadline on our escrow came and went with no word from the seller's bank. By now, I had seen bigger homes at lower prices on the market. So we decided to back out of the offer. HOLY $)@)@!!! I pay $125 a week for a daycare/preschool/K. Open from 6:45 am till 6pm M-F but its totally within my work hours.

Yeah, the kicker is also that Tabby is still in diapers. Potty trained = cheaper. If she's potty trained when she turns 2.5 (with no accidents) then I can take her to a place that's only $145/week. Big difference, isn't it?

Even with diapers, it was 5 bucks more a week. =) But San Jose is freaken crazy. San Diego too and you'd think LA would be the most expensive city in California.

when megan was that young, I found a home day care provider an d it was very very good.

I have contacts who teach people how to run home day care centers in San Jose and can probably get you some recommendations if you want.

If they could recommend someone in Mountain View, heck yeah. Unfortunately, they have to be in MV because Charlie has to be able to pick up Tabby in the PM if I can't get off work early enough.
