Eclipse Sunday
Saw an impressive solar eclipse today, after going to the LAX Range with aghrivaine. He very kindly taught me how to fire a Mini 14. I was able to attain a passable tight grouping.
So far I have been to four aikido classes at LA Aikikai since joining. Still getting used to rolling again. In particular, need to work on my kotegaeshi technique.
Last weekend thelastmehina and I celebrated our second anniversary as a couple. We tried to go to Guelaguetza, but their kitchen broke down. So we went to the Casablanca restaurant instead and had delicious, delicious seafood and tortillas and margaritas. The following day we went down to Irvine to wish her mother a happy Mother's Day, and were gifted with a nice set of cast iron camping cookware. Thanks, Judds!
Yesterday, a friend named Blake asked me to run a Legend of the Five Rings game. It may become a regular thing.
