Opening and the subsequent shows went off with only a bare minimum of hitches and were freakishly well recieved. standing ovation? check. encore? check. general what the fuck? check.
Okay, here is basically ALL I did today: I lay in bed. Well, various beds--first mine with a book, then Savi's with her, her dog, cat, and Law & Order: SVU--and though it felt kind of horrible because it accomplished nothing, but god, so nice and quiet and relaxing. I don't know why, its not like this summer hasn't been one epic lazy day off, but it was very much appreciated. I also learned you can freeze-dry rats. who knew.
(for the reccord, there was also good coffee and random reconnecting and Ballard and angst and an improptu Will & Grace vs. Terry Pratchett marthon in my living room. yeah.)
Heads up: I'm trying to plan an Epic, All Encompassing Event for the 19th involving picnicing and going to Arabian Nights and general merriment to ease my paranoia.
I leave in exactly two weeks.
