Strange things you hear on the bus

Kay, so I take a bus too and from work, to the parks, to walmart, to everywhere. You hear things on it that you don't hear anywhere else. Like someone today was talking about how he had to go to a Power Rangers meeting. Now isn't that just every seven year old's dream? Oh well ( Read more... )

As someone who has lots of connections with Britain, you can't really get peanut butter of any kind over there at all. They usually like pure marmelade or lots of butter on their toast, or vinegar on their fries and such like that. Peanut butter just...isn't really there. Neither is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, actually. It just doesn't exist! It's sad, but it doesn't!

As for what I think, I'd say that it's pretty much a staple food of most college kids who have little money to spend on food! After all, you can get away with spending about two dollars on peanut butter and jelly both together depending on where you buy it and what brand!

I think peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are delicious, even though I don't have them that often. At the same time though, I think a lot of British food sounds really gross, so I can understand the mental block there.
