Strange things you hear on the bus

Kay, so I take a bus too and from work, to the parks, to walmart, to everywhere. You hear things on it that you don't hear anywhere else. Like someone today was talking about how he had to go to a Power Rangers meeting. Now isn't that just every seven year old's dream? Oh well.

But my favorite is this girl (American) and her roommate (British) were talking to another girl (also British) about how the two British girls couldn't understand how Americans can eat peanut butter with jelly. They were like, how could you even stand those two tastes together? They were dumbfounded how we had all eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before. Apparently the American roommate had offered the said sandwich to the British one, after discovering that she had never had it before, and she couldn't even force herself to eat it. She said there was just a mental block, stopping her from even trying it. The other British girl was allergic to peanuts but says she's happy for it because they smell nasty.

The two were even more amazed when we started talking about other types of sandwiches with peanut butter, like with bananas or marshmallow cream. But, as one of the guys on the bus said, peanuts are cheap and they fill you up. That's why we put them in just about everything.

But hey, how about you guys? What do you think of peanut butter and jelly?
