My Birthday
My day started off with a "Happy Birthday" phone call from Wally at 7 AM, which was very sweet. Then I went to work, which was pretty uneventful. Although, I did get a cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday :) Wally's sister made me such an awesome gift! She took a photo of Sammy holding up a sign that says, "Happy Birthday Aunty Jess." It's on her LJ...you should check it out (kittn)! Then Wally came from New Bedford during work and bought me a birthday lunch at Applebees. Yum!
When I got home from work, my mom, dad, and sister surprised me with a cake and party hats. It was great. My family got me tons of presents...The Soprano's Trivia Game, clothes from NY & Co., stickers, the Ryan Cabrera cd I wanted, Birthday Wishes Barbie, underwear lol, shoes, The Ten Commandments on dvd, a mall gift certificate, and a few other things that I can't remember at the moment.
Then off to Wally's house! He cooked me dinner - Fettuccini Alfredo w/ chicken mmmmm, got me brownie a la mode for dessert, and he even bought a 'happy Birthday' tiara for his princess :D His gifts were so thoughtful! He got me a UCONN sweatshirt (cuz I've always wanted one!). He went far and wide to find me a Scuba Steve diving doll that I'd seen in Cape Cod with him. He must have driven to 4 different cities to find it! And lastly, he got me a 20" tv/dvd combo for upstairs so that I'll have something to watch while I'm on my treadmill. Even his parents thought of me with a card, a bookmark with my name on it, and a cd! How unexpected and sweet!
He apparently has quite a few fun plans for me this weekend. My curiousity is peaked ;)
