Friday night
So I didn't go home this weekend so that I could hang out with my roommate and go to her VnLC events. First, there was the buddy autcion fund raiser (which I promised my roommate I'd go to, but didn't know when and where, so it's a good thing I figured it out in time =P). They raised exactly $3,000 selling off 16 or so people (including my roommate).
That's amazing o_o I didn't know people were willing to pay so much for a few services. Actually, it's for charity though, so I'm glad people are so generous =D I tried to group-bid with a girl named Jacky, but we both were too broke to be the final bidders (they went up to a couple hundred @_@)
Then we all went to Noodle Planet for dinner (it was supposed to be Ono, but they closed D=) and Koreatown for karaoke. I've never been to K-town or karaoke, so it was interesting. Since there were about... over 30 people that went, I thought, this is my chance to check out how a karaoke place works without having the pressure to sing something! and it worked out perfectly 8) Well, I still sang along with the group (for the English songs), I just won't be put in the spotlight n_n' I wish I were the type of person who could make a fool of themselves and have a good time entertaining everyone, but I'm just not... I'd probably have a heart attack first (^__^);
We got back here at 2:40ish and I went to sleep at around 3. I got up past noon today! It's the first time I've slept in in a looong time! =D Now I have to eat and do laundry
