weekend
=O How the hell did I get 4/12?! Oh just forget it (>_<) Damn L.S. 15...
Well I had a wonderful weekend. Jen was here since Friday night to Sunday night.
Friday night, we walked to Ralphs, walked back to my room b/c I forgot my card, went back to Ralphs, stocked up on chicken drumsticks for her to marinate and some other things, cooked dinner (porridge with the chicken) and that was about it for Friday. =) I don't plan on doing that often though. It gets scary in westwood at night... especially past midnight - there was this really scary man standing at the bus stop we had to walk past wearing a "security" guard jacket that looked completely fake and the only reason why Jen and me kept walking was because, 1. there was no other way to go, and 2. there was someone walking past at the same time so it's a little safer. Anyway, I don't like the area you have to pass to get to Ralphs (like the Burger King. I heard it's become a dangerous spot recently).
On the bright side, we also saw this really cool skater. Seriously, he was the coolest skater I've eeever seen in real life. By that I mean he did super nice tricks, not he was cool looking or something. Yup, he spun around super fast wtih some jumping tricks and jumped up and down the stairs and everything without falling off his board. They always fall off as far as I've seen.
Saturday was great too. =D We walked around Westwood and to the mall, got some manga from Anime Gamers (where, btw, there were lots of cosplayers - I'm guessing for Halloween) and walked back to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for lunch. We meant to take the bus back, but there was this crazy guy holding something shinny in his hand and walking through running traffic yelling at everyone in non-sensical hollerings. We were concerned he was holding some sort of weapon, and seeing that he was getting closer and closer to the bus stop, we decided to walk back.
So we ate at Ono and then stopped by Rite Aid and went back to my apartment where we cooked dinner. =) We had cabbage soup, corn, and some veges Jen cooked up. Then she did dishes, I did physics hw, and then we took a nap 'til midnight b/c we were dead tired from all the walking.
And when midnight came along, All Hallows Eve!, we baked Halloween cookies we bought from Ralphs and yams that our mom gave me. The cookies were gooood. So were the yams - very sweet.
So we did that, I did more hw, we slept at 3, got up at 10 today, and had a jumbo sandwitch for breakfast with the latest episode of Naruto =)
more studying, more studying, and Ralphs again to stock up on chicken broth, onions, and a carrot for dinner (yep, just ONE carrot =P - 17 cents)
Dinner was yummy, all is well, I'm glad I got homework and studying in along with everything I wanted to do with Jen if she ever came to visit me. =D
We seriously fight a lot though. It keeps changing around from, "I hate you!!", "I'm sorry!", "you still suck!", "let's eat!", "yaaay!"
