Let's see how far back I can remember...
Friday July 15 - Costco with my cousin, aunt, mom, and sisters. Jen got the box of candy she's been waiting for ^_^ It's been a couple of years since I stepped in that place. Back in my time, I think it was called Price Club...
Saturday July 16 - Daniel and Connie dropped off Jen and me in Little Tokyo to get us out of the house more =) It was great! We went to Jungle (as usual), another anime shop that had a pretty good size collection of CDs, watched some people performing traditional Japanese dance on the street,walked around, and went to the market to look for Yatsuhashi (I very well may have spelled that wrong). We ended up buying mochi ice cream, ramen, curry, and a bag of Yatsuhashi that was cooked (we like the raw dough) and had no flavoring on it.
Tuesday July 19 - Jen and me made chicken curry for Connie since it was her last day here before going to Singapore. It was our first time really cooking something outside of our usual spaghetti, instant ramen, and frozen dumplings, but it came out fine =D
Wednesday July 20 - the family dropped off Connie at the airport and we ran around for a couple of hours (on the hottest day ever at LAX according to the news) to find her plane and watch it fly off. We ended up standing on the top of the parking lot to see her plane go :')
Thursday to Saturday, July 21-23 - Jen and me watched lots of anime
Saturday July 23 - Jen and I tried baking crossiants
Sunday July 24 - Mom made us really good breakfast
Monday July 24 - Jen and I baked banana "muffins"
Sometime between Tuesday 'til now - Started playing Jet Grind Radio again and got hooked; Floyd is back from Europe apparently, but I still haven't talked to him since erm... the time we went to the mall with Karen?; I'm starting to watch a lot of Xiaolin Showdown but I don't wake up early enough for Teen Titans. I'm slowly catching up with all my cartoons though; I want to learn how to bake but nothing comes out right. Jen and me finally figured out a reason why - OUR MEASURING CUP LIES! I barely fixed all the labels by measuring with something else that was actually right and marking off the correct lines with permanent marker so our measuring cup is now all black and red marker with Xs through the old stuff; Rozen Maiden is really cool. I want to get back to finishing it soon...
