weekend
Thursday afternoon, Cornie arrived from Singapore to UCLA!! Friday morning, Jeno popped up out of nowhere and surprised us at the door!! :D
It was such a super great weekend! I'm so happy!! We stayed up chatting until 6a.m. Saturday morning and 5a.m. Sunday morning. Catching up good.
So on Thursday, I dragged Connie to anime club with me as a surprise for Natt. We all ate at Aculpoco[?] (delicious Mexian food) and then Con and me came back home (not home-home, but my apartment-home). Con fell asleep on the floor, I did my homework, we both went to bed, the fire alarm set off at 3-bloody-30a.m. It stopped about 10 minutes later, I went to sleep and Connie stayed up clicking around on my laptop because 3:30a.m. is 6:30p.m. (Singapore time), making her somewhat awake enough to stay up DJ-ing my sleep time and using the internet until she went to sleep too.
Then I wake up early Friday morning to finish my homework and someone bangs on my door. I open it and see no one there until Jen freaks me out by popping her head out at me from the side with a giant smile! :D She woke up at 6:30 to bus it over to L.A. and got to us at 10:30 :D It was so super great! :D
So we ate breakfast together, I went to class, came back, went to class with Jen (who wanted to attend my Stats class with me), found the class completely empty, waited outside, found it was still empty a while later, went for a walk to Akerman to look at books, then went home where Cornie was still sound asleep. We all ate lunch together and stayed up until 6:00a.m. chatting. For dinner, Jen and me cooked noodle and chicken.
Saturday morning, me and Jen got up at around noon, Corn got up a little while later because she's jet lagged. (I'm finishing this entry one week later, I don't remember super clearly anymore). We ate breakfast/lunch (mashed potatos, chicken, corn, and fruit juice), baked Toll House cookies, did Connie's laundry, and went to the Lotus Steps show (Chinese dancing). It was sadly disapointing, but still good. After that, we went to Ono to pick up some dinner and came back to the apartment where we ate, watched Future Cops (an old Cantonese Street Fighter movie that we used to watch daily as little kids until the tape was lost ^^;), and stayed up late again. this time, Jen and me headed out around 12:30a.m. to go pick up milk and fruit juice from Ralphs, so we got back around 1, when we ate cookies with milk, chatted, and slept at 5a.m.
Sunday "morning" (2p.m.), went to see the Thai Culture Night. It was pretty funny. I liked it. After that, we went to Fat Burger (our first time there), and then to the Taiko show. Let me say, it was the best darn Taiko show I've ever seen! XD so funny, cool, and so random. perfect.
Sunday night, it was time for us to depart. :{ I help Con and Jen pack up, and then mom and dad came to get them, and they were off. Jen to UCI and Connie to finally see home again :}
Any weekend with the Yangsters united has to be the bestest weekend ever :D
