Today a boy winked at me and another one spent all of math class flirting with me. I've always said I'm my prettiest when I'm distraught.

I am very American in that when I am very upset I go shopping. I am very un-American in that when I am very upset and go shopping, I almost never buy anything, even if it is a thing I need.

Last year it was a guy in Russia with a pine tree in his lung. This time, it's a pea plant.

I'm staying with relatives who keep Fox News on a near 24 hour stream. Fox News was just reporting the escape of an inmate from a South Florida maximum security prison, and they then put up an image of Charles Manson before cutting to commercial. I lovelovelove design. I love colors and aesthetics and making ordinary things beautiful. But I am a poor photographer and graphic designer. Those can be learned, though.
