Toronto Rock for Haiti
Last night just before the Toronto Rock/Rochester Nighthawks lacrosse game here in Toronto, Jamie, the owner of the Rock took up the mic and addressed the crowd (dunno if it was televised) and announced that for every goal that Toronto scored, the Toronto Rock would donate $1000 to the Haiti relief fund.
The boys took up the challenge and beat the hated Rochester Nighthawks 17-3. Not only did we win, but so did the relief fund with a donation of $17,000! How awesome is that?
