"What don't you speak to Jill Coogan anymore?"

Dad, Jill Coogan is so 2003 and she stopped talking to me. I tried to keep the friendship floating, but I was just too moody and weird for her. I wasn't cool enough to hang out with her and Christine Baltera starting in 7th grade. We stopped being friends way before high school, and haven't really communicated since. Why the hell does it matter now?

"You know, you really shouldn't let good friendships go."

If I let them go, then they weren't good in the first place. I think you're worried that your daughter is a huge friendless loser, but I'm not, which is the amazing thing. I just don't tell you everything because I don't like telling you much in the first place. So stop worrying please, because it's just really really annoying.
