I've been taking a small break from corsetry after finishing my DPP entry. I'm testing my distance fitting skills on my sister who lives in Las Vegas. I just got her measurements this week so will start drafting her pattern but in the mean time I have been improving my general sewing skills.

Hope you don't mind, but you inspired me on your 1912 corset. I just finished a corset which I wanted to add crystals to, and I spaced them out throughout the panels, but then decided it needed a little more "flash" and put some in the bottom v of the bust gore and then at the two top sides of the gore. (Also added the same kind of arcing crescent moon to the bottom of the corset near the busk area. It turned out soooooo beautifully! It is for an undergown wedding corset (and probably wedding night also - lol). She was so happy with it, that she cried. I just wanted you to know that the way you put your sequins in the bottom of the gore was beautiful and I took inspiration from it. I'm hoping to get a pic (I was up until 3am the night before delivery attaching those teeny tiny swarovski crystals) and forgot to take a picture before I delivered it. I'm asking her to take a pic for me of all sides with it on, but I'm not sure if she will do it before the wedding in May. Anyway . . . thanks for inspiring me!
