Sometimes I just have to drive,
it isn’t the same for you:
on the edge of the sky I’m alive,
swallowed in black and blue;
you’re impatient behind the wheel,
bored of just passing through.
Feathered in glass and steel,
flexing my shoulders like wings,
lost in flight, in the feel
