The power is back on as the storm formerly known as Hurrican Jeanne meanders off to the east. The news is full of the predictable stories of rebuilding and weariness over the multiple hurricanes Florida has had to endure in the last couple of months. Election stories are in the news too, but what else is new?
Tomorrow, I will have been working at Omega for three years. They're giving me a $100 gift certificate to the Salt Rock Grill, which I plan on using soon. This weekend, perhaps. I'll have my annual review with my supervisor soon, too. I'm a bit worried about that because my performance lately has not been my best. I hope that Keith can keep the entire year in perspective while he considers my performance. Details as they develop...
