So Much For Teamwork ^.^;
Before I get this entry started I would first like to thank my dear friend Cassie (shadowed_light) for the awesome postcard she sent me. It really made me smile and brightened up my day because I had a somewhat cruddy day at work, so it was uplifting for me. I'll be sure to send you a letter soon...no doubt. Thanks again...you rule! :D
I'm pleased to announce that I had my very first "strictly business" meeting today at work. At first I was a bit nervous about attending, but I eventually came to my senses. My partner and I was having minor issues with one of our bosses, Tori, so we figured it was time to snuff out the problem by having a meeting. Apparently he claims that we weren't doing a good job for the past month, and that's his excuse for giving my partner and me the silent treatment. However, Lisa, my main boss totally disagrees. She believes that I am doing my job very nicely and has no problems, whatsoever. So two points for Miguel and company. lol. Although I came out on top in today’s meeting...there is one thing I didn’t like at all.
I couldn't help but notice that for the entire meeting, which was about an hour and a half, I was doing all the defending for myself and my partner, Nicole, and she hardly said a damn thing. I mean sure I was doing pretty well at countering Tori's points and false assumptions, but it would have been nice for Nicole to back me up just a bit. Instead she just sat there (keep in mind I am fully pissed lol) and said "Miguel took the words right out of my mouth." I'm thinking to myself "maybe out of your mind, because you haven't even attempted to say a damn thing all this time! But hey, it’s all good. The deed is done, and everything is back to the way it should be. Tori has apologized and I'm feeling great. ^.^
Now if you would excuse me...I have some more Melee training to do! :D
