Getting To Know You
Ok first of all...can somebody explain to me why ALL the lights in the Student Hall flicker on and off the moment my friend Bryan walked in today? :S
Well I finally figured out how my cell phone number got into the hands of this seemingly obsessive and curious girl. She actually went inside the office I work at and copied it from my personal file. I don’t know if I should be feel honored our simply freaked out! What I don't get is why didn't Nicole, my partner, do anything about it? She takes over the office when I leave work, and there is no way this girl Amber, the one that stole my number, could have taken it while she was in the office. It just doesn't add up. Did Nicole just let her take it? Or maybe Amber tricked her into letting her see my file with all of my information.
"I want to get to know you, Miguel. Meet me at the Tree Kangaroo exhibit at 1:00 and we'll talk" is what her message said. I could go there and tell this girl right off for bugging the crap out of me come studying time. If this happened during the summer then I probably wouldn't have cared as much. This Amber chick is going to be working in the Zoo section this weekend, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to see who she is. But one thing is for sure...she has totally turned me off with how she approached me. I would have rather liked to see her stop by my department over and over then steal my number and call me over and over. Can you imagine me hooking up with a girl like that?
"So Miguel...how did you and your wife meet?" "Well...she secretly stole my phone number at work when we were teens and then she called me obsessively. We've been inseparable ever since."
