Summer Blues

I'm really finding it hard to believe that my summer vacation is coming to and end. August 28th is the day I return to college and I'm not all that excited. I mean it's not the worst feeling in the world going back to studying and what not...it's just that I feel as though I didn't enjoy my vacation to the fullest, then again...I have some time to change all that. Let's see...what have I accomplished this summer thus far? Found a really awesome job, on the verge of finishing Don Quixote, completed Kingdom Hearts, finished Kingdom Hearts 2, improved in my already awesome swimming skills, working out and writing more poetry. Wow...when I actually write down all that has happen it does seem to be quite a bit. Maybe my summer hasn't been wasted after all. By why do I still feel as though it has? *shrugs*

Speaking of poetry I received a call from one of Bermuda's most famous authors and apparently she read one of my poems and she loved it! She then asked me if she could put it in one of her books and you know I said "YES!" So she's going to meet me at my job tomorrow so I can sign this contract to state that it's ok to use my poem in her book. I still feel as though I am dreaming, so the actual excitement has yet to hit me full blast. I can see it now...my poem in fancy font with my name right underneath it. The ladies will go on an adventurous journey in search for the handsome, kind, serious yet deep poet who wrote such words! *begins fanning himself* I better take it easy...this heat wave has ruined my dramatic moment, lol. :P

I had my friend Kevin over my house the other day and it was pretty fun. He brought over this HUGE collection of anamae (which I really didn't feel like watching) and made me watch 3 hours worth. Being a Final Fantasy fan I requested we watch Final Fantasy: Unlimited. It's nowhere near as awesome as Advent Children or anything like that. Even though I'm a HUGE Final Fantasy fan...I found the start of FF: Unlimited a bit boring, but it got quite intense during the final episodes. After watching DVDs we sent outside were Kevin wanted to show me all the cool fighting moves he learned in the army. Even though we were play fighting, I wasn't able to land a single hit he used this defensive style and then retaliated with a swift kick. I'm sorry but I failed pretty badly in that battle. We both agreed it would be best for me to stick to archery, something I'm good at. Hand to hand is not my thing.

Well...that's enough ranting for today.
