Ok so my good friend Diana attends University out in Florida, and she is coming back next month for the Christmas break. She and I are pretty close; we have known each other since Middle School. Coincidently, I spoke with this dude today that I met a few months ago on the bus last night, and found out that he dates her. So no biggy, I'm glad Diana, who I think of as a sister, has a boyfriend. Then again, I do see this guy sitting on the couches at the Student Hall with girls laying on him and blah blah, but that is the most I've seen, nothing beyond that. Anyway, like I said I was speaking with him on the bus last night and he was going on about going away to University to Florida too. I told him that it’s "ideal, and you and Diana can even make arrangements for a room together." He shook his head, followed by a quick "no-no-no." I admit, I chuckled, thinking he was kidding.
But when he didn't say anything after, I figured I'd find out why. So then I proposed the idea of it being "too distracting." So then he says that he doesn't "like the idea of seeing her like every day. There is a difference between living with someone and seeing them everyday." You guys no me, I don't swear whatsoever, but in my mind I was saying "WTF?!?" I'm no relationship expert but that is just plain old wrong. How can he justify a comment like that? Here is where the problem comes in, although I do speak with Diana over MSN like every week, I still feel that it is not my position to interfere by telling her this. I must say, I have a whole new impression of him now, for sure. In the pit of my stomach I figured he was an a** but my gosh, didn't think he was a inconsiderate one!
I think its best I kept silent bout this, although I don't like it one bit...
