After several weeks of debates and intense discussions from more than a few impassioned readers, I’ve decided to keep the Chronicle open after the 4,000th post.

I received emails from more than a few friends and readers stressing that I needed to keep the Chronicle going because of the impact it’s made in regards to educating others on social

I didn't contact you about not shutting down the Chronicle because you'd made your view quite clear, and living your life as you see fit is more important than educating my dumb ass.

Having said that, damn am I glad that you changed your mind, man. The things I've learned here have changed my life and how I approach teaching my kids about diversity, and I feel better knowing that you (and your readers, from many of whom I've also learned a great deal) are still out here doing your thing.
