Allelujah knew tension were as high as ever since Setsuna arrived. He wasn't sure what to believe, but he knew what he was told wasn't a lie. It was easier to think of it as a lie, though. It would be easier to let himself fall into denial about it. He didn't understand what the man was saying, but at the same time it was compelling. The whole time Setsuna had told him things, it was if his brain was trying to connect ideas that weren't there. It felt like something was missing, but every time he tried to understand, something was missing. What was missing? Why was everything about him, and Hallelujah was a "presence" as Setsuna described him. What did that mean? A presence inside him?
Allelujah was sitting at the table of their small apartment, drinking some black coffee. He wanted to sleep and pretend it didn't happen, he really wanted to. Yet something inside him prevented him from doing so.
"Marie Parfacy," he muttered to himself before sipping his coffee.
Something was strong about that name. He didn't understand why it brought out such emotions to him. It felt like his chest got heavy, but lighter at the same time. The name had meaning to him, but he didn't understand why. What was so important about this person that Setsuna thought mentioning her was worthwhile?
He set his coffee down. Thinking like this wouldn't do himself or anyone good.
