'Thank you.' 'Not really.' 'A name is just a name.' Fake or honest or blunt, whatever answer he could think of was still ridiculous. What was he meant to say? Though it didn't show, Shun was starting to grow marginally frustrated around Kakihara. He usually prided himself on his ability to read other people's actions and put up a perfect facade to paint himself in a bland, pleasant light -- but it was hard to tell what exactly Kakihara was looking for. Pleasantries? Pandering back? The low murmurs and meaningless compliments were uncalled for, and out of place. Shun didn't understand the train of thought involved.

"It's nothing," was the low mumble that he eventually resorted so, giving a small shrug. And at Kakihara's rant about the yakuza, he was almost tempted to answer, 'I know.' Terrorist organizations and the underground organizations worked hand in hand, and Shun had dealt with the mafia and triads a fair amount. Their information network was terrifyingly vast. But. It was usually open only to those with a foot already in the door. It was doubtful that these yakuza here would grant any information to two people who happened to come stumbling in.

Shun would just have to hope that they would dismiss him as some poor sap dragged in by an idiot, and make an escape as quickly and quietly as possible. Ditching Kakihara if necessary. (With some apologies. The man seemed earnest, if difficult to read.) Only giving a vague nod in response to the rambling answer about pancakes, Shun instead peered cautiously into the yakuza den. Quickly averting his eyes and bowing his head slightly, shying behind Kakihara, though. -- he felt rather defenseless, armed only with a revolver with no extra ammo and no information. These men were probably ready to kick them out. Violently.
