Unfortunately for Lyserg, the waiting he had to do after Miharu had ended their conversation was a bit longer than he’d originally intended; he’d found the blind person without much difficulty, but the problem had occurred once he’d actually gotten the man up to Elysium to see Madara. How was Miharu supposed to know that Izuna was his boss’s brother? (and still that word felt so weird for Madara, boss; Miharu had already decided he probably wouldn’t use it anymore.)

...the teen’s lips twitched slightly at that, but otherwise he didn’t ling eron the train of thought. What had been done had been done, after all.

Regardless of all this, the fact that he still arrived at the hotel in Terra quite a bit later than expected was a fact (no matter how much of a hurry he’d been in to get there) and when he finally showed up he worried that the troll person he’d spoken with had left already ( ... )

“...I don’t remember that.” The teen said as Lyserg spoke, raising one of his hands and tangling thing fingers in the dark hair at the side of his head, just above his ear. It wasn’t unnatural for Miharu not to know things, not to remember things. There we so many gaps in his memory that half the time he couldn’t tell what made him him and what made other people other people, and Miharu knew that the city had done that to him. Just like it had made Naota and Seiju and the prince and Yoite all disappear, one after another until there had been no one left. Just like it had made Lyserg show up now, just to taunt him-

“I don’t remember that.” He said again, his voice just barely quieter than before, and shook his head, refusing to meet Lyserg’s eyes.

He couldn’t think about the fact that Lyserg was being honest, couldn’t acknowledge that what he was saying was the truth. Because if the city had made him forget Lyserg, and two other people entirely, then what was stopping them from making him forget Yoite?
