Shitshitshit.

Another fucking year of school. One of Naruto's least favorite wastes of time, EVER. FORever. He hated thinking and he hated reading in front of people and he hated homework and he hated projects and he hated the cafeteria food and he hated the condescending teachers and the stupid jocks and the pretentious goths and the creepy nerds--

...Okay, so maybe "hate" was a strong word in relation to people, but it pissed him off how cliquey everyone was. What a waste of time and effort, to keep everyone separated. Especially when they were all fighting the same battle: surviving high school. It just made things twice as hard when people were divided and hostile towards one another.

He plodded angrily down a hallway, not paying any particular attention to where he was going. He attempted to glare every person out of his way, hands thrust into pockets. Most everyone avoided him, as usual, because no one liked talking to the loud, stupid Uzumaki kid. In a bad mood like this, it suited him just fine. And made him angrier. He wished he had someone to rag on the stupidity of everything with.

Thinking suddenly of Sakuma scolding him for 'souring the air', as he always said. If nothing else, he could always drum up new business. And maybe that would result in a friend. That would make life a bit more bearable...

"HEY!" Naruto bellowed suddenly in the throng of bustling students, business smile firmly in place. "Hungry between classes?" he would say loudly, clapping his hand a little too hard on the shoulders of students as he went past them, addressing them individually but the surrounding group at large as well with his sheer volume. "Need something to fill you up after school? Don't forget about RASEN RAMEN!" He started switching things up and shaking hands and he went, leaving a slightly crumpled and dirty business card behind each time. "We've relocated next to the library! Don't forget!"
