Yosuke wondered what it was like for those that were not part of the Battle Royale. Those that just had to sit at home and wait to hear the news if their friends died or not. Even if he wanted to remain home with Nill and Shika, to just fully be able to accept what had happened to him; he couldn't. Something like that would be terrible to do to those that might want to see him. Like Shimazu. The more that he thought about what it would - had - been like for his friend; the more he thought that he had to just be there for him. He would probably go mad if that had been him. And thinking that all his friends had died (permanently) would be even worse. He scratched the side of his face, trying to think of what it was that he could say. There were a lot of people that he had to go visit. A lot of people that he felt he owed apologies. His head gave a light shake as he thought that saying "sorry" wouldn't ever really get rid of those feelings.
There was still a lot that was going on in his head. A lot that he wasn't sure if he would ever really sort out. The tips of his shoes crossed over one another as he stood outside of the apartment door. He wasn't sure what it was that he was going to say to his friend. Still trying to get it all sorted out in his head. Yosuke tapped the side of his head with the heel of his hand. Hard. What exactly was there to say? It wasn't like he had the best things to say to Shika or Nill, right? Why did he have to think up something amazing to say to Shimazu? Maybe it was best to just be simple. Nodding to himself, he finally knocked to alert his friend of his presence.
