Who: Corinthian & Vergil [closed]
Where: Elysium, Vergil's manor
When: Afternoon
Summary: Corinthian wants to see Vergil's library and score an easy pass into Elysium
Rating: PG
Other: nope

The wait wasn't bad. It was only having to put up with the border guards that annoyed the nightmare. The Corinthian seemed to be the only one waiting for a pass this time of day, and at first the two men on duty had done little more than glance in the nightmare's direction. Then one had started conversation with him-- trying to appear friendly, asking where he was from and where he was going. The Corinthian remained uninterested, giving blithe answers-- from the Abyss, meeting with someone in Elysium, and was it really any of their concern?

The guards had made up their own entertainment from that point, speculating with a cruel merriment about the reasons a noble Elysian would drag someone up from the Abyss. The two must have had a slow day-- their imaginations were veritably running wild with ideas. The nightmare remained leaning against the wall, listening to them coolly. He arched an eyebrow at a particularly scandalous remark, but wasn't ruffled by their attempts to rile him.

Though he had taken to wondering a few things himself-- how loud they would scream, for example, if he held his blade close to their face. How hard the shorter of the two would struggle against him, whether their eyes would tear up before he sliced them out. Pleasant little musings.

vergil sparda, the corinthian
