Arthur hadn't left his room in some time, except for tea and other essentials. His fairies seemed to fall ill, their lights flickering worringly for a time. He'd sat with them and chanted his belief until they began to glow as brilliantly as ever again, shaking what could have been a terrible crisis. Neo Genesis was terrible enough as it was, if he didn't have his fairies...

But their recovery was tempered by what he'd learned as he looked to the outside again, Greece was gone. He'd heard the scream and it had sent a chill down him, it felt familiar...

The door opened.

Arthur's thick brows raised and then quickly came together in a dark glower at Yaha's presence, the gun bothered him less. He knew it wasn't likely to kill him... or at least he hoped not. He opened his mouth to command the copper to leave when he was cut off by those words... Kill Alfred, it sent a spike of fear through him past all the denial of his affection for the younger nation ( ... )

"America is always causing trouble." He said dully, his real name being used purposefully as he watched the policeman advance. "Your government should learn more tolerance." Arthur knew America well enough to know a lot of it was just bluster to keep himself in good spirits.

It took a lot of self restraint to stand still as the officer's hand touched his cheek, his only visible reaction was a slight tensing. He wouldn't give Yaha the satisfaction of punishing him if he were to try and push him back.

The blonde closed his eyes for a moment at the last sentence. No, he definately would not. Rebellious brat Alfred may be, but Arthur had put too much into raising him to see him fall like that. And they would make him watch, they were barbarian enough for that. He felt uneasy but cornered as he replied, "Very well."

That got to him, a slight widening of the eyes. How did Yaha know that? Not unless... no, Francis wouldn't have told him such a thing, neither would have Greece or Japan, he was sure of it. Perhaps he was simply using it as a bait for some reason. Though Arthur couldn't think of himself ever having acted fatherly around Alfred in years, not since that damn revolution of his. "Kindly refrain from calling me that." He said stiffly ( ... )

"I'd rather you call by the ridiculous name your city is imposing on me than any of those." He snapped. Ridiculous, but then again so cruel that they gave him the name of one of his legendary heroes, the greatest king who was supposed to return one day and restore England to glory. Heh, Arthur doubted he would have the pleasure of seeing King Arthur charging down the gates of Neo Genesis to his rescue anytime soon.

Arthur didn't dignify that comment with a reply, too focused on the horror of what was expected of him. He'd beaten Alfred before but... that had been war, they were allies now. Alfred was a bumbling idiot, but still...

"I'd hate to do something to please a poof like you." He curled his lip and straightened his back, staring unflinchingly down the gun barrel into Yaha's eyes. "..." Hurt Alfred, or possibly leave him alone... Arthur had seen Alfreds deterioration, if he was left alone he'd... "Shut your trap and get out of my way."
